The Night Market is located at the corner of Saint-Laurent and René-Lévesque, near the Chinatown gate. It complements the programming at the Oasis | Place des souhaits, an aventures du cœur de l’île site designed to highlight the century-old neighbourhood’s rich culture. The project is led by a pair of complementary organizations: La Pépinière, with expertise in creating and managing public spaces, and the Night Market, a local company with deep roots in the neighbourhood.
For 2021, this new market will have 12 food stands operating in rotation over 8 weeks. With the latest public health measures guiding the design, the site includes a terrasse, Asian street food stands and a program of activities under the Aventures du cœur de l’île banner.
Where: Oasis | Place des souhaits
When: August 12-October 3, 2021. Thursdays and Fridays from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 11 p.m.
Price: regular dishes from $4 to $8, premium dishes from $9 to $12. Site admission is free.
In compliance with Quebec government directives, effective September 1, 2021, we will be checking your vaccine passport (with ID) before allowing you to enter this event
